Expanded pearlite is fed into a ball mill, water is poured and the components are ground for 6-8 hours. Plastic clay and bone ash are then fed into the mill and grinding is carried out for another 2-3 hours. The dried mass is flattened in vacuum presses and article are formed therefrom in a plastic manner; said articles are dried to moisture content of 1-7%; a painting is made on the surface of said articles using coloured engobe, dried, a layer of coloureless glaze is sprayed on and firing is carried out at temperature of 1150-1180°C.
