VIBRATION MIXER Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC B01F11/00

Abstract RU 2494805 C1

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous-operation vibration mixers to be used in production of construction materials and construction for fabrication of polydisperse multicomponent materials. Said mixer comprises mixing chamber with material loading and discharge openings, vaned rotor and vaned rotor drive. Vibrators are rigidly secured at the center of mixing chamber top and bottom parts. Said encased bottom and top vibrators excite two equal-amplitude different-frequency vibration fields by top and bottom crank gears. Vibrator cases are composed of metallic corrugated shells composed of thin-wall corrugated solid of revolution. Said solids of revolution form complex geometrical figures in vertical plane section over crimp peaks. Said figures consist of semi-ellipse and truncated semicircle. These can excite opposite-direction vibrations and have disk with guide posts arranged at their centers in horizontal plane and rigidly secured thereat. Said disks with guide posts are rigidly secured to make con-rods translate driven by translation pairs composed of mixing chamber bottom guide post and bottom vibrator con-rod, bottom crank gear, mixing chamber top guide post, vane drive guide post and top vibrator rod of top crank gears, respectively. Top and bottom vibrator disks have cylindrical ledges to be fitted and secured over spring ID. These disks can be contracted/released in said barrels whereto, at center of inner parts, rigidly secured are rods and, to center of outer parts, rods are rigidly secured to excite vibrations from vibrator case smallest crimps. Four ledges are secured in symmetry to barrels outer cylindrical surfaces.

EFFECT: ruled out dead zones in mixing chamber, intensified mixing of components.
