FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, primarily to compositions of mixtures for making acid-resistant ware. The result is achieved by adding aluminium-containing slag from production of chromium metal to crude kaolin-based ceramic mixtures, with the following ratio of components, wt %: crude kaolin 50-80, aluminium-containing slag from production of chromium metal with the content, wt %: 20-50, slag composition wt %: SlO2 - 5.5; AlO3 - 76.4; Fe2O3 - 1.35; CaO - 7.8; Cr2O3 - 7.3; R2O - 1.3.
EFFECT: high frost resistance and heat resistance of acid-resistant ware.
