FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, mainly to the compositions of masses for the manufacture of ceramic earthquake-resistant bricks. The ceramic mass includes components at the following ratio, wt. %: beidellite clay 60-80, aluminum-containing slag from the production of metallic chromium (with a content, wt. %: SiO2 4.5; Al2O3 76.5; Fe2O3 1.7; CaO 6.8; Cr2O3 6.7; R2O 3.8) 20-40.
EFFECT: increase in the strength and frost resistance of earthquake-resistant bricks.
