FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, particularly to compositions used to seal influx of water into a well. The composition for sealing influx of water into a well consists of a silicon-containing compound, a titanium salt and a solvent. The silicon-containing compound is liquid glass, the titanium salt is triethanolamine titanate - TEAT-1, and the solvent is process water, with the following ratio of ingredients, wt %: liquid glass 30-37, TEAT-1 4-8, process water - the balance.
EFFECT: composition for sealing influx of water into a well with improved anti-corrosion properties, with controlled gel time, which provides deeper penetration of the composition into the porous environment of a waterlogged formation and creating a deeper insulation shield, with preservation of high sealing properties, which reduces permeability of a waterlogged formation and a durable insulating shield.
