FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains the following, wt %: carbon 0.16 - 0.19, silicon 0.17 - 0.37, manganese 1.45 - 1.60, vanadium 0.12 - 0.15, chrome 0.85 - 1.0, nickel 1.15 - 1.30, calcium of more than 0.010 to 0.015, molybdenum 0.27 - 0.35, copper 0.20 - 0.30, titanium 0.010 - 0.025, niobium 0.04 -0.06, aluminium 0.03 - 0.05, boron of more than 0.0030 to 0.0035, nitrogen of not more than 0.010, phosphorus of not more than 0.012, sulphur of not more than 0.005, and iron is the rest.
EFFECT: steel has increased impact viscosity at negative temperatures, is characterised with strength and stability of mechanical properties at maintaining wear resistance.
