FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a nuclear-magnetic logging device which consists of at least one long magnet which is magnetised perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, and a radio-frequency coil for creating a field perpendicular to the field of the magnet, a radio pulse generator, a nuclear-magnetic resonance signal receiver and a matching device, the first input of which is connected to the beginning of the radio-frequency coil, the end of which is connected to the common point of the matching device, the second input of which is connected to the output of the radio pulse generator, and the output of the matching device is connected to the input of the nuclear-magnetic resonance signal receiver. The magnet is made from conducting rare-earth material SmCo in form of a long cylinder which is magnetised perpendicular to its longitudinal axis and the wide side surface. The radio-frequency coil is wound on a cylinder, the diameter of which is not less than the diameter of the cross-section of the magnet located inside the cylinder. Windings of the coil lie in planes parallel to the long axis of the magnet and perpendicular to its poles in symmetrical sectors lying opposite the poles of the magnet. A screening device is placed on top of the radio-frequency coil.

EFFECT: high sensitivity and depth of investigation during nuclear-magnetic logging with probes of small diameter.
