FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: optical device has a lens, a sighting or target reticule and an eyepiece, which enables to observe an image constructed by the lens on a surface in which the sighting or target reticule are located, as well as the reticule itself. Between the lens and the eyepiece there is an assembly of wedge-like optical elements connected to each other by a transparent gel or via an optical contact in form of a plane-parallel plate; the reticule is deposited on the surface of the connection of optical elements, whose shape matches that of the surface of the best image of the device. The plate is placed such that, that surface is superposed with the surface of the best image of the device.
EFFECT: high efficiency of suppressing glare without deterioration of quality of the obtained image.
