FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to produce a decorative composite material, which may be used to manufacture decorative inserts, parts of writing accessories, buttons, souvenirs, bijouterie. The method includes preparation and pressing under pressure during heating to temperature of 140-160°C without access of air of a mixture of amber particles with jet particles, its cooling. Amber particles are mixed with jet with size of 0.1-3 mm of amber at the mass ratio of 50:50.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the method.
