FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopedics and can be applied for constrained plasty of extensive soft tissue defects of knee joint area under conditions of absence of local plastic resources. Island skin-fascial tissue complex of specified width is formed on hip by free transplantation of radial blood supplying fascial flap under skin of anterior and anterior-medial surfaces of ipsilateral hip. After three weeks plasty of soft tissue defect in the area of knee joint is carried out by island pre-prepared skin-fascial flap.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to create full value covering tissues of specified width, increase amplitude of movement in joint.
