FIELD: packing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, namely, to production of confectionary items, and is designed to package candies and other confectionary products with provision of their immobility in the package when stored, transported and demonstrated. The box comprising a cover, walls and bottom of the box, a compartment insert with cells and ledges of elastic interaction, comprising compartment insert cells made without a bottom, elastic ledges, at least two, made along the upper edge of the cells, at two opposite sides, as round, and the bottom is detachable. The method to package confectionary items consists in the fact that the box with the cover, walls, bottom and compartment insert is placed onto the table. Confectionary items are laid into the compartment insert with cells, having ledges for elastic interaction with a confectionary item. The box is placed onto the table with a face surface, at the same time the cells are made without the bottom, ledges of elastic interaction with a confectionary item are placed along the upper edge at two opposite sides. Confectionary items are laid at the rear side into the cells of the compartment insert and covered with the box bottom, made as detachable, then the bottom is fixed to the walls of the box.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides for minimisation of deformation of confectionary items in a package during storage, transportation, demonstration, simplification of box design and method of its packaging.
