FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat treatment of articles and can be used in various industries to heat and fire various materials, including articles made of metal and ceramic. The heating method, wherein articles are bundled while forming channels in said bundles, the bundles are placed on a furnace seat with spacing in form of a load; a heat carrier is fed to the load by rotating furnace gases to form a cyclone; temperature is equalised in the volume of the load of articles by collective interaction of the cyclone and additional high-speed jets of an energy carrier directed into the channels of the bundles, while providing forced distribution of furnace gases inside and outside the load of articles in given amounts and directions. Central vertical or horizontal channels are formed in the bundles and flow rate-controlled and temperature-controlled high-speed jets are fed into said channels, said jets being formed by additional high-speed burners located on the furnace roof or walls, opposite the central channels of the bundles. In the spacing between bundles, oppositely directed high-speed burners lying at a different height form lateral cyclones which are oppositely directed in each spacing through the staggered arrangement of high-speed burners on longitudinal walls of the furnace.

EFFECT: high uniformity of heating and quality of articles, low specific consumption of fuel when the load of articles is arranged longitudinally.
