FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-insulation material which contains precipitated silicon dioxide and moulded articles containing the heat-insulation material. The heat-insulation material, which contains 30-95 wt % precipitated silicon dioxide, having modified packed density of 10-50 g/l, and 5-70 wt % heat-absorbing material, is used as loose heat-insulating filler, sheets or blocks, or in vacuum insulation systems.
EFFECT: high heat conductivity of articles.
