FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal powders by impact grinding and can be used for refractory metal chips processing for reuse in electrometallurgy. Impact grinder for refractory metal chips consists of housing, Laval nozzle and fixed deflector-reflector. Laval nozzle is made with the possibility of feeding the carrier gas in the form of argon at pressure of 1 MPa and chips from the refractory metal in the feed pipes to accelerate said chips to supersonic speed. Stationary baffle-reflector is made in the form of a fixed baffle plate made of the same refractory metal as the said chips, and located in the area of the first Mach disk for impact destruction of the said chips.
EFFECT: enabling development of impact mill, which allows obtaining high uniformity of chips grinding of refractory metals with minimum content of dust fraction and zero content of wear products.
