FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed in the invention is a weather-resistant sliding fastener containing a modified puller equipped with an upper adjustment rib and having finely adjusted inner dimensions. According to the invention, a moisture-proof coating and/or glue are applied onto the zipper lace. Additionally proposed in the invention is a puller that may take in longitudinal edge sections of the outer material layer enabling such material edges coming within immediate proximity/contact with each other, essentially closing the zipper teeth. Additionally, the invention relates to methods for manufacture and installation of the weather-resistant sliding fastener.
EFFECT: ensuring approved water- and wind-proof qualities of the zipper and the end product.
