FIELD: personal demand items.
SUBSTANCE: armchair contains a support frame; a seat supporting the seated; a backrest supporting the back of the seated and having an upper end and a lower end and pivotally mounted on the support frame at a position higher than its lower end; and a deflection mechanism configured to lift the seat and move it forward when the backrest is deflected. The deflection mechanism comprises a functional connection between the seat and the support frame, and comprises a traction arm pivotally connected to the seat and pivotally connected to the backrest at a position below the articulation of the backrest to the support frame. The deflection mechanism is configured to ensure that when the backrest deflects, the lower end of the backrest moves forward, and the traction arm pulls the seat up and forward with respect to the support frame.
EFFECT: increased reliability of armchair folding.
