FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a catalyst for hydroskimming organooxygen products of processing plant biomass. Described is a catalyst for hydroskimming organooxygen products of processing plant biomass, which is a composite containing nickel or a combination thereof with copper. The catalyst contains nickel or nickel and copper in amount of at least 40 wt %, molybdenum in a reduced form, or phosphorus in form of phosphides or a combination thereof in amount of not more than 20 wt %, and a silicon dioxide SiO2 stabilising additive.
EFFECT: high stability in media with high acidity and high water content.
