FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering. Proposed method comprises assembly of spacecraft equipped with electric power supply system with solar cells, storage batteries and stabilised voltage converters, preparation of electric power supply for operation, execution of electric tests for operation, tests for mechanical strength and electric-thermal-vacuum tests. Besides final tests are performed including control over attachment of storage batteries and solar cells. Mechanical tests and control over attachment of storage batteries and solar cells are carried out with onboard storage batteries and solar cells. Prior to mechanical tests, storage batteries are charged with mode equivalent top to that of standard prelaunch charge. Other tests are conducted using temporary functional simulators thereof. In electric-thermal-vacuum tests performed to estimate spacecraft thermal balance, onboard storage batteries are withdrawn from storage state. For this, they are charged and cycled from ground charge-discharge complex in modes equivalent to current operation of spacecraft. After estimation of spacecraft thermal balance, storage batteries are changed to conditions of optimum storage to continue electric-thermal-vacuum tests.
