FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: spacecraft comprises electric power supply system composed of solar batteries, storage batteries and stabilised voltage inverter. Proposed process comprises assembly of spacecraft, making the electric operation tests, mechanical load tests and thermal-vacuum tests. Operation and thermal-vacuum tests are conducted using temporary functional simulators of solar and storage batteries. Additionally, ground voltage stabiliser is connected to power supply system outputs, its output voltage not exceeding power supply system stabilised voltage level. At initial state, ground voltage stabiliser is set equal to electric power supply system lower stabilised voltage. In emergency, it corresponds to electric power supply system upper stabilised voltage. Ground voltage stabiliser is switched from said lower level to said upper level in response to appearance of the current at output.

EFFECT: higher safety at ground electrical tests.
