FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for curing or insulating concrete and cement formulations and methods for use thereof. The composition contains an aqueous emulsion containing about 10-40 wt % paraffin wax with respect to the weight of the emulsion, about 0.01-20 pts.wt saponifiable wax per 100 parts of the paraffin wax, a saponifier and about 0.1-5 wt % dispersant with respect to the weight of the emulsion. Said composition is used in a method of curing or insulating a concrete and cement formulation, which involves preparing said composition to obtain an aqueous emulsion and deposition thereof onto the surface of concrete or cement.
EFFECT: high efficiency of insulation.
