SUBSTANCE: steel contains the following, wt %: carbon 0.03 - 0.08, silicon 010 - 0.90, manganese 0.30 - 1.5, niobium <0.08, vanadium <0.147, titanium 0.003 - 0.03, nitrogen 0.002 - 0.010, chrome 0.01 - 0.35 or 0.36 - 1.2, nickel 0.01 -0.30, copper <0.5, sulphur 0.003, phosphorus 0.004 - 0.012, aluminium 0.001 - 0.01 or 0.02 - 0.06, calcium 0.0001 - 0.006, hydrogen of not more than 0.0002, oxygen of not more than 0.0025, and iron and inevitable impurities are the rest.
EFFECT: increasing consumer properties of steel and rolled products owing to increasing stability against hydrogen cracking and increasing cold resistance at maintaining viscous properties and manufacturability.
