SUBSTANCE: drilling diamond bit includes a housing, a matrix separated with flushing slots into working sectors with concave end faces, which are reinforced with cutting elements, and hollow inserts arranged in flushing slots and open on the side of the well working face and made in cross section in the form of annular segments with convex end faces, which are congruent to concave end faces of the sectors. Each sector of the matrix has horizontal channels interconnected with the cavity of hollow inserts; with that, horizontal channels have conical shape, the larger base of which is oriented towards the bit rotation direction. Horizontal channels can be interconnected with the housing cavity through additional channels.
EFFECT: improving sinking process and mechanical drilling speed; better cooling of matrix and improved cleaning of the working face from slurry.
