FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of operation of a thermal power plant, according to which steam generated in a forward-flow steam boiler after a steam superheater of live steam is sent into a high pressure cylinder of a steam turbine, then steam is sent into an intermediate steam superheater, afterwards it is supplied into a cylinder of medium pressure and further into a low pressure cylinder; some steam from the medium pressure cylinder is sent into the third bleed of steam, from where it is supplied to a turbodrive of a feed pump and a thermopressor; water is also supplied into the thermopressor from the line of the main condensate at the outlet of the group of low pressure heaters, and cooled and compressed steam released from the thermopressor is sent as a heating steam to deaerator of feed water and the first heater of high pressure along with the flow of feed water.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce difference of temperatures between steam at the inlet to the first high pressure heater along feed water flow and a deaerator of feed water and flows of feed water at the outlet from them.
