SUBSTANCE: method of fitting adjusting device at air operated disc brake comprises the steps that follow. Adjusting device as-adjusted is fitted in brake set screw. Adjusting device drive ring is connected with brake rotary lever. Adjusting device is centered with the help of thrust ring at brake support recess. Adjusting device is positioned by turning it as required. Adjusting device is placed at said brake by locking thrust ring at brake support with the help of retainer element. Air operated disc brake comprises adjusting device for adjustment of brake lining and brake disc and clamp driven by aforesaid rotary lever. Said clamp can be fitted in set screw and fixed at brake by thrust ring. Brake support has recess. Thrust ring is connected with geometrical closure with brake support with the help of retainer element.
EFFECT: improved assembly/disassembly.
