SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a washing machine comprising a housing with a base, a tank which is fixedly mounted on the inner side of the housing, a drum installed rotatably in the tank, a rotating shaft extending through the tank from the rear side of the drum, a bearing housing, a suspension assembly for damping and maintenance of the structure, coupled with the bearing housing, a drive motor located in the suspension assembly and used also as a counterweight of the drum, an element to transfer power from the motor to the shaft. At that the suspension assembly is located in the plane of symmetry and comprises: the first and second vertical brackets extending, respectively, down from the bearing housing, the first and second horizontal brackets extending, respectively, ahead of the first and second vertical brackets, a plurality of dampers for damping and maintaining the first and second horizontal brackets.

EFFECT: this arrangement enables to increase the capacity of the washing machine and to reduce vibration during operation.
