SUBSTANCE: turbine cooling system with the first and the second sections comprises the first line to run off the first flow from the first section of the first temperature, the second line to run off the second flow from the first section of the second temperature below the first one, and a common line to send the united flow consisting of the first and the second flows to the second section. The united flow is formed when the second flow exceeds the specified temperature Method of cooling the turbine section with intermediate pressure by a leakage flow from the turbine section with high pressure includes stages at which the leakage flow from the turbine section with high pressure is supplied to it. Afterwards the leakage flow is united with reheat flow from the turbine section with high pressure to form a united flow and the latter flow is sent to the turbine section with intermediate pressure; the united flow is formed when the second flow exceeds the specified temperature.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of a turbine cooling system.
