FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method to burn solid fuel includes its supply into a slag melt of a furnace, bubbling of the melt with oxygen-containing gas or gaseous oxygen, burning and discharge of combustion products from the furnace. Supply of fuel is carried out from the side of the upper row of furnace tuyers, and combustion is carried out with full coverage of the melt surface by a layer of 0.3-0.7 m depending on the fuel type, at the same time controlled rotary motion of the melt is created in the melt bath in the vertical plane with elastic opposite jets of oxygen-containing gas, supplied into the melt at different levels with controlled pressure separate for jets within 0.8-3 atm.
EFFECT: increased yield of carbon oxide during gasification.
