FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment with a gaseous oxidiser with content of 40-95 volumetric percent of gaseous oxygen of the whole volume of an oxide melt bath, to which solid fuel is supplied. With that, ratio of the oxygen amount in the gaseous oxidiser comprises 0.4-0.7 of the theoretically required one for oxidation of carbon and hydrogen of solid fuel to carbon dioxide and water. Melt temperature is maintained at the temperature that is by 50-350°C higher than temperature of its melting by changing the ratio of the amount of oxygen to the solid fuel amount; with that, in order to increase the temperature, this ratio is increased, and in order to decrease it, it is reduced.

EFFECT: stable thermal condition of gasification and improving quality of the obtained ready fuel.
