FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: optic unit includes receiving-emitting channels, each of which includes an electronic unit, an optic emission pulse source and a photoreceiver, which are connected to the electronic unit. Optic axes of the optic emission pulse source and the photoreceiver, which form a receiving-emitting channel, are directed at an angle of ≤90° to ammunition longitudinal axis in the movement direction and located with an offset relative to each other, mainly parallel or almost parallel. With that, the above receiving-emitting channels are arranged around the ammunition longitudinal axis; angle between emitters of adjacent receiving-emitting channels in radial direction is chosen so that light beams of emitters do not intersect between each other, and distance between beams of neighbouring emitting channels at the required distance of the target detection is equal to/approximately equal to minimum size of the target.
EFFECT: improving probability of detection of small-size targets; providing high accuracy of installation of the specified actuation range; enhancing protection against optic and small-size interference, and reducing weight-and-dimensional characteristics.
