SUBSTANCE: buckle for belt length adjustment contains a flat detail with a tail piece and at least one belt gap and a frame. The flat detail is designed in the form of clip the tail piece whereof is confined within the frame designed in the form of a bracket with a roller mounted thereon. The tail piece surface turned towards the belt is equipped with cogged projections and a crosswise groove. The tail piece is positioned at an angle to the gap surface; on the clip surface there are projections and props positioned, interacting with each other; the clip is made of a polymer material. For the belt tightening and release a force is applied to the belt free end at different angles.
