FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical psychology, as well as to cardiology. A patient undergoes a session of psychic relaxation which is preceded and followed by determining thresholds of tactile sensation. Thereafter, they are related, and the angina pain intensity is appraised by points. The psychogenic pain intensity (Ps) in the angina pain structure in the patients with ischemic heart disease is evaluated by original formula. If observing Ps=1-6 points, the psychogenic pain intensity in the angina pain structure in the patients with ischemic heart disease is considered to be low. The low intensity is also stated if Ps=7-12 points. The moderate intensity is shown by Ps=13-18 points. The Ps=19-24 points provides the severe intensity to be stated. The very severe intensity is shown by Ps = 25 points and more.
EFFECT: method enables evaluating the psychogenic pain intensity in the angina pain structure ensured by reducing the human factor effect and differentiating between the psychogenic and angina pains.
