SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric resonator vibrations are excited in the resonance region by subjecting the resonator to sinusoidal voltage with variable frequency; active component of conductivity is simultaneously selected and differentiated; on the frequency characteristic of the derivative of the active component of conductivity, the value of conductivity is measured at the maximum frequency, the maximum conductivity frequency is measured from the active component of conductivity and the value of the active component of conductivity at the maximum conductivity frequency is measured, after which the quality factor is calculated according to a certain mathematical expression.
EFFECT: high efficiency of controlling piezoelectric resonators and enabling control of the quality factor of piezoelectric resonators using a device without memory elements.
