FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing a concentrated electromagnetic radiation receiver/converter, having a receiving plane in form of a panel of photocells with an antireflection coating and with electrical switching of the photocells, a system for removing heat from the photocells, a bearing structure, on the outer surface of the receiving plane of which three symmetrical concentric conical shells are mounted by their bases - central, peripheral and middle in between, wherein their common axis of symmetry passes through the centre of the panel of photocells, which is in form of a circle with radius R, and is perpendicular to the panel, wherein the peripheral and middle conical shells are truncated, each with a height h, the middle conical shell has average base radius rα and apex angle α=90°, the peripheral conical shell has average base radius rβ=R and apex angle β which satisfies a certain relationship, the central conical shell has average base radius rγ and apex angle γ which satisfies a certain relationship, and the outer surfaces of the middle and central conical shells and the inner surfaces of the peripheral and middle conical shells have a maximum specular reflection factor.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the receiver/converter owing to more uniform exposure of the series- and parallel-connected photocells, which reduces the dispersion of electrical parameters of the photocells and groups, which overall reduces connection losses, prolongs the service life of the receiver/converter by reducing the risk of breakdown of separate photocells and inter-element connections owing to more uniform temperature distribution on the surface of the receiving plane, creating more favourable conditions for operation of the system for removing heat from the photocells of the receiving plane.
