FIELD: physics, optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing receivers-converters based on semiconductor photoelectric converters for converting electromagnetic energy of high-density laser radiation. The invention discloses two versions of the design of a space laser radiation receiver-converter. In the first version, the receiver-converter is in the form of three mutually perpendicular circular panels with an intersection point which coincides with geometric centres thereof; each circular panel on two sides represents a receiving plane on which photoelectric converters are mounted. Rear contacts of the photoelectric converters are cooled by radial straight, arched and peripheral arched heat pipes. The second version differs from the first by the structure of the heat pipes: V-shaped and arched heat pipes are used.

EFFECT: high power and efficiency of the receiver-converter, high efficiency of conversion, reliability and longer operational life.
