SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. In compliance with first version, light cross-country vehicle comprises two drives for wheels or crawler belt at vehicle sides and differential steering with sun wheel.Cross-country vehicle comprises extra steering drive acting at sun wheel. In compliance with second version, steering hydraulic drive including hydraulic pump and drive motor. Hydraulic circuit includes flow priority control valve and steering wheel control valve. Its dry weight makes is under one ton, while its length is smaller than 3.5 m and width is smaller than 1.65 m. Steering control valve is connected with steering wheel hydraulic drive motor. Hydraulic circuit incorporates additional safety valve. In compliance with third version, is comprises engine torque control device with engine throttle electronic control system. Said engine throttle electronic control system is connected with engine and throttle lever extending part or pedal to compensate for torque required to make steering force complying with steering pressure gage reading. In compliance with fourth version, it comprises differential steering device including gearing composed of steering control motor acting at steering shaft. Steering shaft is engaged with sun wheel carrier engaged with engine motor. In compliance with fifth version, it comprises hydraulic circuit with extra working hydraulic system. Steering motor hydraulic system enjoys priority over extra working hydraulic system.
