FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering. Shipborne AWACS aircraft consists of fuselage, front sweep-forward wing and rear normal sweep wing arranged at fuselage front section and deflected upward, engine and radar with front and side active phased arrays. Fuselage cross-section converges over its width from nose to tail. Engine represents an ICE with push propeller 5 arranged at fuselage tail. Front wing leading edge accommodates monopulse receiving antenna its outputs with outputs of nose antenna are connected to inputs of signal weight processing unit with allowance for SNR. Rear wing ends are furnished with two vertical keels with rudders.
EFFECT: longer detection range, higher accuracy of target azimuth measurement in front hemisphere.
