FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: thermal knife of constant heating includes frame 1, in the outline of which a frame is installed in a movable manner in vertical direction and formed with upper 2 and lower 3 planks connected to each other by means of compensators of thermal knife 7 movement forces. On upper 2 plank there fixed is holder 6 of thermal knife 7 having jaws with a heating element pressed between them and electrically connected to contacts of a feed electric wire. Metal strip 11 is pressed between the jaws below the heating element, and limit stop 12 fixed on table 14 of the packaging machine with possibility of its contact with metal strip 11 is located under the thermal knife. Cross section of limit stop 12 has "П"-shape and dielectric pad 13 from porous elastic material is fixed between flanges of limit stop 12. Jaws of thermal knife 7 are covered with teflon fabric; with that, holder 6 with thermal knife 7 fixed in it is rigidly fixed on upper 2 plank of the frame by means of guide fasteners 15. On upper 2 plank of the frame relative to it there spring-loaded is restricting bracket 16 connected to guide pins of the plank, on which springs are located. Each spring is located between the pin nut screwed on its end and upper surface of restricting bracket 16. As per the other version, the thermal knife includes a frame, in the outline of which there movably installed in vertical direction is the upper plank with the thermal knife holder rigidly fixed on it by means of guide fasteners. The upper plank is connected to compensators of movement forces of the thermal knife. The thermal knife is also made as in the first version. With that, a spring-loaded protective casing connected to its guide pins, on which springs are located, is installed on the upper plank. Each spring is located between the nut screwed onto the pin and the upper surface of the protective casing.
EFFECT: simpler structure and higher reliability of its operation.
