FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of air and fuel into a reactor, their mixing, combustion of the mixture and/or gasification of the solid base contained in it. Additionally at least three tangential jets of air and/or water steam are introduced into corner wall zones of the reactor vessel at the joint of chamber ends and its curvilinear side wall with the mass flow from 3 to 7% of the volume of used air, and at least two tangential jets of air or water steam are introduced into the middle cross section of the vortex at the side of the lateral side of the vortex chamber with the mass flow from 10 to 30% from the volume of used air in the place of vortex rotation by 180 and 270-310 degrees from the start of its formation.
EFFECT: elimination of drifts in corner spiral-like areas near seams of jointing of vortex chamber ends and its curvilinear side wall, and also drifting or slagging of a side wall.
