FIELD: weapons and ammunition; rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of a powder pressure accumulator (PPA) for a mortar scheme for the separation of rocket stages in flight. PPA comprises a housing, the axial expendable critical opening of which is located inside the cavity of a cylindrical cup with side openings, multi-charge of solid fuel with a progressive burning surface, located between the support grids, igniter and igniter. Bottom of the glass is made in the form of a cone-shaped heat-resistant divider, on the outer surface of which a dome-shaped reflector of the products of combustion of the charge is installed in the direction opposite to the rocket movement. Annular gap between the outer surface of the housing and the inner wall at the cutter of the reflector is determined by the ratio of the areas of the consumable axial critical opening σcr and the area of the annular gap Sg 100σcr>Sg>10σcr, and the total area of the side holes of the cylindrical cup Sc determined by the ratio of 0.1Sg>Sc>1.15σcr. Each piece of charge is made with longitudinal ribs evenly spaced along the surface of the cylindrical channel.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to simplify the design of the PPA, reducing the passive mass of its design.
