WARNING TRIANGLE Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G09F13/16 

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: warning triangle is in form of a tripod which, in an extended state, is a pyramid with edges which are interlinked at least by their top ends and are surrounded by a flexible cover in form of light-reflecting flexible bands which form triangular road signs in the extended state of the pyramid. The edges are telescopic legs which are pivotally connected to each other. In order to fix the completely spread apart legs, the triangle is provided with a fixing brace. The light-reflecting flexible bands are attached to the legs on two lateral sides and are a textile-polymer red border consisting of an outer light-reflecting strip and an inner fluorescent strip, which bound a hollow centre on three sides and have the shape of concentric equilateral triangles. On the front side, there are bars attached to the legs, capable of tilting in the vertical plane, perpendicular to the road plane, wherein the bars are attached to the legs by their bottom part. The bars are interlinked by their top ends and in their top part the bars are linked to the legs by a fixing mechanism. A flexible textile-polymer cloth is attached to the boards, the cloth being in form of a red border consisting of an outer light-reflecting strip and an inner fluorescent strip which bound a hollow centre from three sides and are in form of concentric equilateral triangles. The warning triangle is provided with a fixing brace for fixing the completely spread apart legs.
