FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: percussion-rotary drilling device includes a housing, a percussive mechanism with an electromagnetic drive, a hammer and an anvil connected to a rock-destructing tool and an asynchronous alternating-current generator of condenser excitation with a turbine drive for power supply to the electromagnetic drive of the percussive mechanism. As a generator for power supply to the electromagnetic drive of the percussive mechanism, a synchronous self-excited generator with improved heat characteristics with a squirrel-cage rotor and two distributed windings on a stator, an excitation winding and an operating winding, which are laid separately, is used. One of them - excitation winding- is laid in the main slots of the stator pack of the asynchronous self-excited generator. The other one - operating winding- is laid in additional axial channels of the stator pack, which are used as closed slots. Excitation capacitors connected to a triangle are connected to phases of the excitation winding, and phases of the operating winding are connected to shunting capacitors connected to the triangle, and then through a mercury contact and a semiconductor valve to the electromagnetic drive winding of the percussive mechanism.
EFFECT: excluding failure of self excitation of a generator for power supply to an electromagnetic percussive mechanism.
