FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a flat radiating loop, an alternating current source, a nonconducting bar lying at an angle to the plane of the radiating loop, a set of receiving coils mounted on the nonconducting bar. Vertical magnetic flux of the direct field through the receiving coils which is close to zero is achieved by selecting a tilt angle of the nonconducting bar close to 35 degrees. The set of receiving coils on the bar matches the number of selected operating frequencies.
EFFECT: high reliability of obtained data, simple design of the device, higher sensitivity and effective probing depth.
