FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for measuring specific conductivity and electrical macroanisotropy of rocks comprises a housing, toroidal exciter coils and toroidal receiver coils. The housing is nonmagnetic and the exciter and receiver coils are mounted inside the housing on a nonmagnetic rod. The exciter coils are located at opposite ends of the rod and are configured for in-phase, anti-phase and compensation connection. Between the exciter coils there is a given number of receiver coils lying at a known distance from each other, wherein the receiver coils for measuring current density are made on a ferromagnetic core and receiver coils for measuring induced EMF are made on a dielectric core.
EFFECT: high accuracy of probing data.
