FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to designing hull configuration of single-hull vessels and catamarans. Hull fore features configuration of single-hull vessel while aft has catamaran configuration. Catamaran aft floats form a tunnel there between. Fore outer boards and deck (decks) smoothly change over into aft outer boards of said floats and deck (decks). Cross-section of single-hull fore and catamaran aft feature smooth curvilinear configuration corresponding to hull-borne mode. Zone of smooth transition of their configurations is located between fore and aft, said transition including section of smooth elevation of vessel bottom mid part from single-hull fore to actual waterline in tunnel area between aft catamaran floats. Aft lengths and those of said transition make at least 20% of actual waterline while tunnel width between said floats makes 30-55% of the vessel maximum width along actual waterline.
EFFECT: better navigability and operating performances.
