SUBSTANCE: composition contains a halogenated C₄-C₇ isoolefin copolymer and 3-20 wt % alkylstyrene containing 0.2-2 mol % haloalkylstyrene, having Mooney viscosity of 15-26, number-average molecular weight less than 270000, weight-average molecular weight less than 470000, z - average molecular weight less than 700000 and branching index (g') from 0.4 to 1.1. In the elastomer composition, the isoolefin can contain isobutylene, alkylstyrene can contain p-methylstyrene and the halogen is bromine. A vulcanised filled rubber article is made.

EFFECT: improved processability of the crude filled rubber mixture, viscosity, relaxation, pre-treatment strength and other physical properties, improved permeability properties of tyre tubes and encasings.
