SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a smoking product that contains: a core containing smoking tobacco, a paper wrapping enclosing the smoking tobacco core, a paper wrapping containing cellulose fibres and filler particles; he paper wrapping containing the first surface and the second opposite surface and is positioned so that the second surface is turned toward the smoking tobacco core, the filler particles forming a concentration gradient across the paper wrapping thickness so that the concentration of filler particles on the first surface is greater as compared to the second surface; the first surface is smoother than the second one; there ir at least one treated section on the first surface of the paper wrapping, such section containing a composition retarding ignition, the composition containing a film-forming material.

EFFECT: treated section reduces the smoking product ignition capacity properties.
