SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing fluorine-containing surfactants of general formula R_fC(=O)CH₂SO₂OH, where R_f assumes the values: CF₃O(CF₂CF₂O)_mCF₂ for m = 1-3; or C₃F₇O[CF(CF₃)CF₂O]_nCF(CF₃) for n = 0, 1, 2, by treating methylperfluoroalkyl ketone of formula R_fC(O)CH₃ with chlorosulphonic acid ClSO₂OH according to the scheme followed by removal of hydrogen chloride from the reaction products. The process is carried out at temperature of 80-90°C, followed by distillation of hydrogen chloride in a 20-30 mm Hg vacuum.

EFFECT: novel method of producing fluorine-containing surfactants, which increases output of the end product and simplifies the production process.
