FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed unit comprises drive motor misaligned with rotary pump. Pump and motor are mounted at two levels. Pump housing comprises running and flow section. Flow section comprises suction pipe, flow chamber to accommodate impeller and involute branch pipe communicated with pressure pipe. Impeller has multistart set of swirled vanes with constant or variable curvature radius. Said vanes are separated by diffuser intervane channels. Active volume of intervane channel filling allows forcing out in one impeller revolution of (30-600)×10-5 m3/rev of transferred medium. Flow section rear wall is composed of armor disc while its sidewall makes involute branch pipe in the form of monofilar helix diffuser channel. Pressure diffuser branch pipe features outlet cross-section area some 1.2-5.6 times larger that at inlet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability, longer life.
