DRINK COOLING DEVICE, REFRIGERATOR WITH SUCH DEVICE AND DRINK COOLING METHOD Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC F25D23/12 F25D31/00

Abstract RU 2503899 C2

FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: refrigerator includes a drink cooling device that includes a refrigerating tank with inlet and outlet drink supply and discharge openings, and a cooling tube that is located inside the refrigerating tank. The refrigerating tank has the possibility of being installed at the ambient temperature exceeding drink freezing temperature. Cooling tube is made so that cooling fluid medium the temperature of which is lower than drink freezing temperature can pass through it and that is located so that drink can pass between it and external wall of the refrigerating tank. Therefore, the drink passing near the cooling tube is cooled by it and frozen till solid phase in the area that is located near the cooling tube while for non-frozen drink there is free access in the area located near external wall of the refrigerating tank due to the fact that temperature outside the refrigerating tank is higher than drink freezing temperature. Drink cooling method involves creation of a refrigerating tank with a cooling tube inside it, installation of the tank at the ambient temperature that exceeds drink freezing temperature, circulation of cooling fluid medium the temperature of which is lower than drink freezing temperature, passage of cooled drink through the tank so that it can pass near the cooling tube and along a spiral-shaped passage in the cooling tube; temperature and/or flow rate of cooling fluid medium is controlled so that frozen drink can be accumulated around the cooling tube and free access can be provided for non-frozen drink in the area located near external wall of the tank.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions allows creating a compact and cheap built-in drink cooling device with a simple design.
