FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system for prospecting for offshore hydrocarbon deposits includes emitting and receiving acoustic transducers mounted in the medium, that are configured to form a parametric antenna between them, a channel for generating and amplifying emitted medium pumping signals and a channel for receiving, amplifying, processing, extracting and recording information signals, the channels being connected to said transducers, respectively. The emitting and receiving transducers of acoustic signals are spaced apart on opposite boundaries of the investigated area of the water body, the emitting transducer being mounted on a movable carrier and having low-frequency and high-frequency radiators, the former being configured for horizontal orientation of its beam pattern towards the side of the receiving transducer, and the high-frequency radiator being configured for orientation of its beam pattern towards the sea bed. The channel for generating and amplifying emitted medium pumping signals is dual-channel, each channel of which includes series-connected stabilised frequency generator, power amplifier, units for matching amplifier outputs with underwater cables which are connected to corresponding emitting transducers. The receiving transducer includes two horizontally spaced apart receiving units, each connected to a radio module located on the sea surface. The system also includes means of determining location of the emitting transducer and receiving units of the receiving transducer in real time. The system also includes a satellite communication unit with a central station which is configured for remote control of operation of the system.
EFFECT: providing mobility of offshore prospecting for hydrocarbon deposits while increasing reliability of prospecting on vast water bodies.
